Thanks for stopping by! As I’ve already told you, I am a 27 year old, mother of 5, grandmother to one. My life has been anything but ordinary – my husband is a funeral director/embalmer to just name one of the oddities of our family… (Not that he’s odd, err, well maybe he is! Moving on!) When I had my second child, my husband and I decided that it would be best for me to stop working and stay at home with the kids, at least until they go to school. So, now we get the fun and interesting job of raising a family on one income! (Not complaining though – this was entirely our choice.) These changes led me to an entirely different lifestyle: Crafting! Coupons! DIY! 🙂
The downside: OK, maybe I miss shopping. And just running out to the store every time I got the notion.
The upside: I am not missing a moment of my precious girls’ lives. Almost every time one of them smiles, laughs, does something silly – I get to see it! My house is clean for the first time in my life, and I am learning how to make/create/cook all sorts of things! My kids are happy! My husband and I are happy! So for that, I am blessed.
Last but not least, I am a Christian. I am not perfect. I try not to judge others. I can only hope to do my best to live by mine and my God’s standards of what is right and wrong.
I hope you enjoy reading about our silly day-to-day activities, crafts, and deal-searching endeavors!
P.S. If you are trying to count in your head or on your fingers to figure out how I already have a grandchild, I will put your mind at ease! My husband is 21 years my senior and has 3 beautiful daughters from a previous marriage. ❤
